Our Valiant Knight, in his largest format, dignified and imposing, is presented in battle attire, wearing chainmail and a tabard (a sleeveless garment worn over armor) emblazoned with the Templar cross. The knight wears spurs. The cross on his chest indicates that he has taken the cross. His head is covered with a mail coif (chainmail hood) over which he wears a historically fanciful helmet surmounted by a crown, attesting to the knight's status. He grasps the pommel of his sword in its scabbard with one hand and holds the base of the hilt with the other. On his left side, he displays a Norman-style shield also bearing a Templar cross. His youthful face, finely sculpted, reflects the pride he feels in his station and his mission: to come to the aid of the weakest, in service to his Faith.
