"Regency Bench In Gilded Wood "
A Regency bench in giltwood, decorated with gold leaf. It rests on six cabriole legs joined by a stretcher. The shaped apron is richly carved with Regency-style motifs: shells, acanthus leaves, scrolls, etc. The caned seat, with rounded ends, is in excellent condition! The bright gilding is perfectly preserved; there are no missing pieces, and no restorations to report! A very refined 19th-century piece. This very elegant bench will easily find its place; it could also serve as a footstool or even a coffee table.
