CENTRAL OF THE BASKET AND TRAY: MYTHOLOGICAL SCENES - Venus offering Love and Friendship to Diana. Diane dares not choose, fearing to take Love. - The Origin of Coquetry. Texts engraved under the basket and the tray. Magnificent collector's item for a museum or private collection. The set is in very good condition. Two small chips on the basket, barely noticeable (see photo). A round basket is a very rare piece. In very good condition considering its age (215 years). Basket: Height 11.5 cm, diameter 26.8 cm.
