He exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1874 to 1882. A rare work by the artist from his Argentine period. He was one of the first French painters to exhibit in Argentina. Two exhibitions were dedicated to him in Rio de Janeiro in 1906 and 1908.
Provenance : part of a sale of his studio collection by his descendants in 2007.
