A Louis XV style marquetry chiffonier or bedside table with three drawers and knobs on the front. The top and the stretcher are decorated with flowers inlaid with colored wood. The front legs are adorned with small bronze mounts at the base. This beautifully crafted piece bears the label of Maison Gouffé, furniture and decoration manufacturer in the Faubourg Saint-Antoine district of Paris's 12th arrondissement. The table is in very good original condition, having been recently revarnished. The space between the stretcher and the top is 30 cm.
