A set of four fruitwood armchairs.
The upper rail of the back and seat rail are carved with flowers and foliage.
The armrests, characteristic of Nogaret's work, are wide and carved with palmettes.
The legs are cabriole, with acanthus leaves in a hoof shape.
The chairs are upholstered in yellow silk velvet.
Lyon work from the early Louis XV period, circa 1745-50.
Attributed to Pierre Nogaret.
