Pair of Etruscan-style covered terracotta vases with a continuous decoration depicting mythological scenes in earth tones on a black background for one, and in black and red on an earth background for the other. These covered pots, inspired by antiquity, are objects from the Grand Tour, which young men traveling through Europe to complete their education appreciated bringing back from their journeys. Good condition, one handle has been reattached (barely visible both in person and in the photos).
