A Paris porcelain Lirtron coffee cup. Beautifully decorated with fine matte and burnished gold leaf, featuring fluting, gold daisies, and blue cornflowers. The entire interior of the cup is gilded, giving the illusion of "drinking gold" when full. Late Empire or Restoration period (circa 1820-1830). The set is in excellent condition. The gilding is exceptionally fresh, with virtually no wear. No damage. Cup height: 7 cm; Cup diameter: 7 cm; Saucer diameter: 12 cm
