"Pair Of Gilded Wooden Palm Holders From The Late 18th Century Neoclassical Period"
Beautiful pair of gilded wooden palm holders -
The objects pictured are a pair of antique palm holders, likely dating back to the Neoclassical period (late 18th century). Palm holders are altar vases used to display olive or palm branches during the Easter season.
They are gilded with gold leaf, although in some cases the gilding may only be applied to the front.
These objects can be reused as decorative elements for the home or converted into lamps.
They are in excellent condition, all parts original.
