A lovely pair of Sèvres blue cassolettes decorated with gallant scenes and adorned with gilt bronze. The Sèvres Manufactory mark is under the lid. The back is decorated with finely crafted bouquets of flowers. The gilding is brilliant and original, without any cleaning. Beautiful bronze medallions adorn the base of the handles. In perfect condition, except for a tiny chip on the base of one lid, invisible as it is within the rim (see photo). A very decorative pair.
