Venetian-style Mirror, 20th Century
Venetian-style mirror, large, characterized by a very rich stepped frame entirely decorated with hand-engraved glass, applied on cobalt blue glass backgrounds. The decoration, finely crafted, features floral motifs, rocaille and stylised coats of arms, distributed on shaped plates alternating between transparent and blue glass, creating a suggestive chromatic effect of great elegance.
The frame is further enriched by cut glass rosettes placed at the intersections and corners.
