Superb Art Deco Vase by Boch Frères / Kéramis (R. Chevalier from 1941)

Circa 1941

Polychrome glazed earthenware decorated with stylized magnolias

Lovely shape and generous size (approximately 27 cm high and 18 cm in diameter)

This is a very interesting design, being one of the very first created by Raymond Chevalier upon taking over the artistic direction of the Boch La Louvière factory (succeeding Charles Catteau)
The influence of the Longwy factory is clearly evident in this beautiful polychrome decoration

Stamp and model number (D.2908) and shape number (F.899) are present on the base of the vase



An interesting piece, in perfect condition and of excellent quality!
