Magnificent Art Nouveau stained-glass window and its transom depicting the Roman goddess of flowers, Flora, draped in white and wearing a beautiful garland of flowers. Attributed to the workshops of the French stained-glass artist Champigneulle, also known as Charles II, born in Metz in 1853 and died in Savonnières-devant-Bar in 1905. He worked in Bar-le-Duc and later at 96 rue Notre-Dame des Champs in Paris. The entire piece is in very good condition. Flora, wife of Zephyr and mother of Carpos, is a deity celebrated in antiquity for the Floralia, a five-day festival in April, to promote bountiful harvests.
