Library: Louis XV Style Book Stamped Léon Dromard
Small low bookcase: Louis XV style bookcase in marquetry violet wood. Aleppo breccia marble top. Stamped by Léon DROMARD on the top below the marble at the four corners. French polished. Léon DROMARD was a cabinetmaker in Paris. He established himself at No. 8 rue Saint-Lazare as a furniture maker in 1874. His production, of very high quality, was varied and always strongly inspired by 18th-century styles. He ceased his activity in 1889. A small cabinet on a wall table is preserved at the Musée d'Orsay.
