A pair of white porcelain vases, Napoleon III period, in the Sèvres style. They are decorated with delicately painted scenes in pastel shades of pink and blue. The first depicts a cherub standing on a balustrade pouring liquid into a cup held by a young woman. The second also features a cherub, but this one is carrying a cage from which a small bird emerges, held by a thread and also held by a young woman. Pastoral landscapes on the back of both vases complete the decoration. The neck and base of the vases are decorated in gold in the Louis XVI style. Rich gilt bronze ornamentation adds great preciousness to these high-quality and very decorative vases. Height: 35.5 cm, Base diameter: 7.5 cm, Width: 11 cm. Very good condition.
