DESCRIPTION: Large Boulle marquetry display cabinet with brass stringing, featuring exquisite gilt bronze ornamentation including upper and lower drops, a large ornate pediment, covered urns at the corners of the capital, two large medallions depicting offerings to Bacchus, spandrels with scrolls, and multiple ingot moldings. Drawer in the lower section. Interior with three adjustable shelves and two adjustable half-shelves, crafted from speckled maple, inlaid with double brass stringing along the edges. Back and interior panels in speckled maple, very elegant. Stamped twice by the renowned Diehl firm in Paris.
