Curved Mahogany Display Cabinet From The Napoleon III Period
A Napoleon III period solid mahogany display cabinet, curved on three sides. Richly ornamented with gilt bronze mounts. It opens with a front door to reveal two glass shelves. The interior is electrified. The back is lined with newly replaced red moiré fabric. It rests on four cabriole legs. The top is made of griotte red marble. The original lock and key are in working order. Restoration was carried out in our workshop. Finished with a French polish.
