A beautiful giltwood fireplace screen from the Napoleon III period, 19th century. Double-sided, with one side featuring a needlepoint tapestry and the other a contemporary fabric depicting dogs and cats. Highly decorative and practical as a screen against the heat of a fireplace or as a room divider. In very good condition, with original gilding. Dimensions of the central panel: 75 x 57 cm. Footprint: 59 cm.
