Miniature Travel Clock With Minute Repeater
Small early 20th-century (1904) clock with minute repeater (pressing the top button strikes the hour on one gong, followed by the quarter-hour(s) on two gongs, and then the number of minutes past on one gong). The case is champlevé enameled with a floral design and the dial is guilloché enameled in deep blue. The French-made case has four Corinthian columns. The striking movement is Swiss, patented in 1904. The escapement is a Swiss lever. The clock is in excellent working order and does not currently require servicing (no guarantee of its longevity). It is sold as is. There are two small chips on two columns near the flower petals. These are barely visible.
