A silver-plated flatware set, "Boreal" pattern, created in 1929/1930 by Luc Lanel, comprising 108 pieces including 12 large spoons (20.5 cm), 12 large forks (20.5 cm), 1 ladle (32 cm), 2 fish serving utensils, 1 shovel (26 cm), 1 large serving spoon (26 cm), 2 small serving utensils, 2 large serving utensils (24 cm), 3 miscellaneous serving utensils (17 cm), 12 teaspoons (10 cm), 12 small spoons (13.5 cm), 24 forks (18 cm), 12 medium spoons (18 cm), and 12 fish knives (19.5 cm). Also included are 12 large knives (25 cm) and 12 medium knives (21 cm) of a different pattern. The set totals 132 pieces, some of which are still in their original case. 20th century, circa 1930.
