We are offering for sale this charming pair of watercolors by P. Le Van. One depicts fishing boats at the docks with people awaiting the return of the fishing fleet and an armed customs officer conversing with a sailor smoking his pipe. The second, by the same artist, shows a beach scene with two figures and guardhouses. We have found no information about this artist, so he was certainly a very skillful self-taught painter. Both are in perfect condition. Weight of the pair: 2.8 kg. Shipping extra (€25).
