"Sainte-marine, The Slipway, Bigouden Country, Finistère, Brittany"
Jean-Louis Le Toullec settled in Finistère in the 1930s, traveling the region in search of subjects and witnessing scenes of daily life in Brittany. He set up his studio in Concarneau. Here, he depicts the small port of Sainte-Marine (the slipway) in the Bigouden region, southern Finistère, Brittany, in the 1970s. It offers a beautiful view of the Odet River and the town of Bénodet.
