This artist, born in Vietnam, worked primarily in France. He achieved international success. A very personal style with distinctive tones. Increasingly sought after by collectors, Volang, a former diplomat originally from Hue, settled in Paris around 1950. He has traveled the world, exhibiting in Miami, Hong Kong, Singapore, etc. His highly personal style ranges from figurative to abstract, applied with a slightly thick impasto and imbued with a mysterious halo of light.
