A young redhead in a flower garden. Painting by Roberte Chevalier, born in 1907 and died in 2000. She took drawing classes in Paris in 1924 and courses at the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts. From 1931 onwards, she exhibited in numerous Salons. She was a painter of nudes and compositions with female figures, and is considered a Post-Impressionist.
