"Horrific Memories Of A Death Camp"
We present this exceptional document, preserved from our discoveries over 57 years of professional work. This document recounts the history of an extermination camp dedicated to communists, political prisoners, resistance fighters, and saboteurs. This camp, called "Struthof," was located in Natzwiller, in what is now the Bas-Rhin region. The prisoners there endured the same hell as those in the concentration camps where millions of Jews were mercilessly exterminated under the command of the SS. The person who created this "magnificent" testimony for remembrance was Henri Gayot. Born in 1904 in the Eure department, he died on May 5, 1981, in La Rochelle. He was a drawing teacher, a member of the French Resistance, and an artist. He was, of course, a prisoner in this horrific camp, transferred to Dachau, and liberated in 1945. We respect this man and urge Holocaust deniers to consider this testimony. Fifteen plates accompany this powerful document. Preface by Roger LAPORTE, mathematics professor in Saint Etienne. Weight 300g. Shipping extra (€25).
