A rare small Louis XIII convent table. It is made of oak and walnut. The base consists of four columns joined by stretchers. Originally, it rested on small balls (these must have been very worn and have been cut off). The top has two drop leaves that fold over the surface, very practical! It opens with a drawer in the front which has retained its lock and its cut-iron keyhole. It bears a label indicating its provenance: Sisters of the Visitation of Colmar. In perfect condition with a beautiful waxed patina. Mid-17th century. Provincial work.
