Pair Of Louis XVI Period Silvered Bronze Candelabra, Usable With One To Three Lights
A pair of silvered bronze candelabra, dating from the early Louis XVI period, circa 1780. A beautiful model with fluting, rows of pearls, and ribbon bows. Two candle arms are mounted on a candlestick base, the central cassolette-shaped motif reversing to accommodate up to three lights. They are composed of 17 independent parts, a sign of quality. A beautiful model, ideal for a dining room, complementing the silverware (on a table, console, or sideboard). Produced in the 18th century, they are in perfect condition as they were re-silvered in the 20th century (a very expensive operation that will therefore not be necessary). Total height: 39.5 cm Width: 27 cm
