Pair of covered earthenware vases, potiches with bulbous bodies on wide, rounded feet, adorned with two scroll handles, each beginning and ending in a mascaron. These vases retain their lids with flattened ball finials. Richly decorated in blue monochrome on a white ground, with lambrequins and scenes of daily life within reserves, surmounted by a count's coat of arms. A blue mark, P.VB, is present underneath. Apothecary vases, likely a product of northern France. Second half of the 19th century. Dimensions: Height: 47 cm – Width: 41 cm – Base diameter: 24.5 cm.
