A very fine chryselephantine sculpture in gilt bronze by Dominique Alonzo. Marble base. Signed. D. Alonzo was a sculptor representative of the Art Deco period and a student of Alexandre Falguière. She exhibited her works from 1912 to 1926 at the Salon of the Société des Artistes Français. Her chryselephantine bronzes were produced by Edmond Etling alongside those of Chiparus.
