Superb desk in solid mahogany and satin mahogany veneer, molded and carved. It opens with two glazed doors, two drawers, a niche on the stepped top, and two large drawers in the frieze. It features a concave top with overhanging, rounded corners, a curved frieze on the front, and rests on curved legs with sabots and a double front with arches that frame the top. Gilt bronze handles, keys, and sabots decorated with trefoils, beveled glass, and a hot-stamped mark on the right drawer. Beautiful waxed finish, perfect original condition!
