Multilayered glass, acid-etched then wheel-finished, with a delicately hammered surface.
An earlier, more classical version of this design was produced without this final surface layer.
It is precisely this envelope of dense, amber-toned glass that gives the piece its distinctive brilliance — an expressionist touch that enhances the floral theme with remarkable depth.
A final ruby layer, visible on the foot and the veins of the leaves, further enriches the contrast and color harmony.
