Made of black waxed leather, the buckles are metal without rollers, as was common in the 18th century.
It has a light cavalry officer's bit and an original snaffle bit, likely used for long rides.
Two reins are included, one of which is a whip-like type.
Numerous repairs have been made, and one buckle has been replaced.
