Bronze Christ, early 17th-century cast after a model by Guglielmo Della Porta, Italy. Very good condition, with some minor losses to the fingers. Height: 25.5 cm. Presented on a plexiglass cross and base. The figure of Christ crucified with only three nails accentuates the dramatic nature of the scene. This theatricality, typical of the Mannerist period, is reinforced by the elongated upper limbs, which bear the full weight of the crucified body.
