This high-quality piece features brass-covered wooden frames and four fluted vertical columns with shaped brass inside.
The piece was restored in our workshop. It features two doors in the center with four large drawers inside, five drawers on each side, and one large drawer above the central doors. The interior is all oak. Note the masterful execution of the dovetail joints in the drawers. The locks are all original. The only thing missing are the drawer keys. Three have been made for the top row, but the others can be made.
The piece was crafted by an excellent carpenter who spared no expense in terms of materials and production time.
To recap, the piece has a total of 15 drawers. The handles and all the fittings are original and have been cleaned and polished. A photo before the restoration is also available.
The piece can be disassembled into three parts. Inside, there are special screws similar to those on sleigh beds and wardrobes of the period, which, when unscrewed, allow the piece to be disassembled.
