Pair Of Six-branch Candelabra In Gilt Bronze And Carrara Marble – 19th Century
An exquisite and finely crafted pair of candelabra in gilt bronze and white Carrara marble, dating from the 19th century.
Each candelabrum rests on a white marble base, enhanced with a gilt bronze beaded frieze, from which rises a central tripod with goat feet finely chased in bronze.
The tripod supports a rounded body richly decorated with goat heads, floral garlands, and delicate ribbon motifs, enclosing a central globe of pure Carrara marble.
From this elegant structure emerge six gracefully scrolling branches, adorned with foliage and floral decorations, all beautifully detailed.
The piece showcases exceptional bronze chasing work and an outstanding gilding quality, remarkably well preserved.
A refined and sophisticated ensemble, these candelabra combine balance, elegance, and decorative richness. They would be perfect in a classical interior—on a commode, console, or mantelpiece—or as a striking statement piece in a contemporary baroque setting, bringing a touch of originality and grandeur.
