Eduardo Soria studied in Paris under Adolphe Déchenaud and François Flameng; he was a painter of typical figures, nudes, portraits, and primarily female portraits characterized by soft, ethereal tones, like the portrait we are offering for sale. He exhibited in Paris at the Salon des Artistes Français (1931, 1932), in London, and in Buenos Aires (Sources: Bénézit).
