This carved wood mirror features a pediment adorned with a basket of flowers, surrounded by leafy garlands cascading down on either side, against a blue-gray lacquered background. Its rectangular frame is decorated with twisted ribbons, acanthus leaves and florets, as well as rosettes. The beveled glass was added in the 19th century. Beautiful patina and gilding.
