Elegant And Original Diabolo-shaped Floor Lamp With Double Lighting, France, Circa 1940
Elegant and original double-light diabolo floor lamp.
It consists of a U-shaped base supporting an adjustable sphere, which locks into place in the desired position using a brass wing nut.
The sphere is equipped with two switches and supports the light arm, which has an attractive curve. It ends on one side with a ball joint to which the double ‘diabolo’ lampshade is attached, and on the other with a counterweight.
Polished brass and black lacquered cast iron, recent lampshades, identical to the originals.
