The base consists of three black-lacquered metal branches fixed on a gilded brass axle, topped by a double stem in black lacquered metal and gilded brass, supporting an openwork grid and a gilded brass plate that hold the lampshade. Two light bulbs. Recent shade, rebuilt on the original structure and as the original shade.

Story
Arlus was a French lighting publisher, very active since the 1950s and close to the modern design movement. The house’s headquarters were in Paris in the 11th arrondissement and its exhibition store in the 17th arrondissement. The publisher offered more than 300 new classic or modern models.
