"Epinal Plate With A Rooster - Late 18th, Early 19th Century"
Epinal plate - Late 18th - Early 19th century. A high-fired plate with decoration characteristic of Epinal plates. The rim features 65 gadroons and characteristic colors. Decorated with a rooster at a fence resting on a grassy mound. The rim is decorated with three bouquets. Excellent condition. Note: visible crazing only on the back of the plate and a small chip in the glaze repaired on the rim (see last photo). Diameter 22.7 cm.
