Pair of large 18th-century silver candlesticks in the Louis XVI style, featuring the rare decoration of four different profiles.
Hallmarked Belgian, Antwerp 1787, and silversmith André Joseph Petit. Formerly mounted as lamps, the base of the candlestick on the right is slightly flattened, and the candle holder is about to detach. The bases are drilled for the wire; in short, they would benefit from a visit to a silversmith.
