Gogotte De Fontainebleau
Absolutely unique. A gigantic fragment of a Fontainebleau Gogotte on a custom-made base. A Fontainebleau Gogotte is a natural sandstone formation that formed millions of years ago in the Fontainebleau region of France. They form when mineral-rich water binds sand particles together to create smooth, undulating structures. Their organic shapes appear almost sculpted, leading them to be considered natural works of art. This example is exceptionally large: 71 cm high without the base! Purchased a few years ago from a gallery in Belgium.
