Louis XV Style China Cabinet With Ash Burl Veneer
A two-part oak and ash burl sideboard, dating from the early 19th century, in the Louis XV style. A Bresse-style piece. True to the Bresse tradition, this sideboard combines burl wood with oak framing. The lower section opens with three doors surmounted by three drawers. The doors are richly molded. Attractive marquetry adorns the lower rail. The upper cornice is molded and carved with a garland of foliage. Two small doors provide additional storage in the upper section.
