A beautiful gouache by the Danish artist Franciska Clausen (1899-1986). Her work is characterized by abstract and geometric paintings, Surrealist, Cubist, Purist, and New Objectivity movements. Active from 1916 to 1986, she was a close associate of Fernand Léger. This painting is a fine example of her work. In very good condition, signed. It measures 58 x 37 cm. Visually stunning!
