Commemorative series from the Meissen Porcelain Manufactory exhibition at Baccarat Madeleine, May 13–June 20, 1992. Includes the card and original box. Marked with the blue crossed swords and numbered 53605. Its delicate shape, reminiscent of flower petals, its pointed, undulating rim, and the fine gold band highlighting the outer contour. Even today, this form of apparent simplicity and understated whimsy remains one of the most revered classics of Meissen porcelain and has inspired many famous designs. The earliest pieces in the service, featuring a new porcelain cup known as the "Neuer Ausschnitt" by Kaendler, date from around 1745. Dimensions: 3 x 9 x 12 cm
