The Dome Of Jean Du Marboré
Artist: Jean Du Marboré
A magnificent major work by the painter Jean du Marboré (1896-1933), whose real name was Jean Pitsh. He worked in a post-Cubist style and had his studio in Montmartre. He exhibited regularly at the Salon d'Automne from 1922 onwards, and also at the Salon des Indépendants. This oil painting, entitled "La Coupole" (The Dome), is a beautiful representation of his talent. The palette is superb! Painted on a large wooden panel, it is very original and highly decorative, measuring 1.02m x 84cm. A visually stunning painting! Truly beautiful!
