Coffee Table Stamped B. Molitor, 18th Century
A Louis XVI style salon table, stamped B. MOLITOR, dating from the 18th century. It is made of mahogany and mahogany veneer. The front features three drawers highlighted by gilt brass molding. The uprights are covered with gilt brass fluting. The table has two handles on each side for easy transport. It rests on four tapered legs with bronze sabots. The top is white marble veined with gray, surrounded by an openwork gilt bronze gallery. It measures 47 cm long, 36 cm wide, and 79 cm high. It is in very good condition.
