A mahogany and mahogany veneer office chair from the Empire period, early 19th century. The gondola-shaped back extends to form the armrests, which are delicately carved with large lion heads in solid mahogany. The front legs end in claw feet, the rear in sabers. The seat is upholstered in brown leather in very good condition. French work from the Empire period, early 19th century.
