A beautiful depiction of the Porta Borsari in Verona, Veneto. The gate dates from the 1st century AD and was once the main entrance to the city. It appears that a postcard depicting this iconic Verona gateway was produced based on this watercolor. Contemporary painted and gilded wood and stucco frame. Good condition. 550 euros.
