A pair of finely chased gilt bronze candlesticks, each with a chased glass dome decorated with vine and grape friezes, a fluted stem from which a small lizard or salamander descends, and a tripod base in the form of lion's paws with a vegetal motif. This work is in the style of Barbedienne and dates from the Napoleon III period, 19th century. These candlesticks are in good condition and are very decorative.
